Kaukauna blanks Appleton East softball

KAUKAUNA – Undefeated Kaukauna won its 10th-straight game to start the 2024 season, cruising past Appleton East 15-0 in a Fox Valley Association softball matchup Tuesday at Kaukauna High School.
The Patriots (2-5 overall and FVA) were held to three hits and committed five errors as Kaukauna scored multiple runs in all four of its at-bats to win by the 15-run rule in the fourth inning.
Lilly Boyle drove in four runs as Kaukauna (10-0, 8-0 FVA) finished with 10 hits.
Appleton East will host Appleton North for an FVA game Thursday starting at 4:30 p.m.
