Appleton West wins FVA boys golf dual over Appleton North

NEENAH – Three Appleton West players tied for second place with 41s as the Terrors defeated Appleton North 168-187 in the Fox Valley Association dual meet opener Friday at Winagamie Golf Course.

Appleton North sophomore Jon Huenink shot a 40 to earn medalist honors, finishing with five pars and four bogeys on his round.

Collin Evers, Prestyn Evers and Lucas Downs all shot 41 for Appleton West.

Both teams will compete at the Heart of the Valley Invitational on Monday at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood.
