Fox Valley Lutheran girls basketball drops road game at first-place Freedom

FREEDOM – Freedom maintained its lead in the North Eastern Conference girls basketball standings with a 42-32 win over Fox Valley Lutheran on Tuesday at Freedom High School.
Freedom bolted out to a nine-point lead by halftime and were able to finish off the victory, improving to 16-5 overall and 14-2 in the NEC, one-half game ahead of Marinette.
Alaina Krueger had 11 points and Eden Last scored eight for Fox Valley Lutheran (7-12, 7-9 NEC).
The Foxes host Little Chute on Thursday at 7 p.m.
