Xavier girls volleyball wraps up another Bay Conference title with three victories at conference tournament

GREEN BAY – The Xavier girls volleyball team secured its 10th Bay Conference championship in the past 11 seasons by winning all three matches at the Bay Conference Tournament on Saturday at Green Bay East High School.
The Hawks defeated Green Bay West 25-3, 25-9; West De Pere 25-13, 25-11; and Shawano 25-17, 25-18, on Saturday to finish their Bay Conference campaign with a perfect 10-0 record.
Mariah Potter had 50 assists and 11 service aces, Annika Kowalski had 17 kills, six aces and seven digs, and Mattea Kiepert and Madison Daley each had 13 kills for Xavier in its three matches.
Belle Shea had a team-high 17 digs, Aly Tylinski had five aces, Olivia Neumann had 12 kills and eight blocks, and Halle Vande Hey had 10 kills as well for the Hawks.
Xavier will host a WIAA Division 2 regional semifinal on Thursday against the winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal between Seymour and Chilton.
