Appleton North boys volleyball wins all three matches at New Berlin West Quad

NEW BERLIN – The Appleton North boys volleyball team, ranked fourth in the latest Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association state poll, won all three of its matches to capture the overall title at the New Berlin West Quad on Saturday.
The Lightning lost only one set in their three matches defeating Kenosha Indian Trail 25-16, 25-9, New Berlin West 25-20, 25-15, and Waukesha Fusion 15-25, 25-15, 19-17.
Ben Brinkman had 26 kills, Jadon Ciriachs added 25 kills, setter Connor Cantrell had 76 assists and Alex Ramus had 41 digs for Appleton North.
Nathan Ramus added 18 kills, Grant Hardy had 15 kills and Jackson Keesling had 10 kills to give the Lightning five players in double figures.
Appleton North hosts Green Bay Notre Dame/Bay Port on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in a Fox Valley Association match.
