Appleton East boys soccer pulls out road win at Kimberly

KIMBERLY – The Appleton East boys soccer team snapped a three-game losing skid with a 3-2 win over Kimberly in a Fox Valley Association match Tuesday night at John R. Gerritts Middle School.
Sevie Koss scored early, and Alexis Vera added a pair of goals, all in the first half, as the Patriots pulled out to a 3-0 lead and were able to hold on at the end. Owen Mineau and Koss had assists for East.
Henry Benz had five saves in goal for the Patriots, who are now 7-6-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the Fox Valley Association. Kimberly drops to 7-6-1 and 5-2-1 in the conference.
Appleton East hosts Bay Port for a nonconference game Saturday at 1 p.m. at Pickett Field.
