LITTLE CHUTE – The Fox Valley Lutheran football team won its fourth-straight game and remains unbeaten in the North Eastern Conference after posting a 35-19 win over Little Chute on Friday nigh tat Litte Chute High School
Fox Valley Lutheran is now 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the North Eastern Conference, remaining in a tie for first place with Luxemburg-Casco, a 24-14 winner over Freedom on Friday. The two teams will meet at FVL on Oct. 6.
The Foxes racked up 421 total yards, 310 on the ground as quarterback Liam Heiges ran for 153 yards and four touchdowns, and Jack Egan added 138 yards and a score. Heiges also threw for 111 yards.
Heiges had touchdown runs of 17, 1 and 2 yards in the first half as the Foxes built a 28-7 lead by halftime.
Heiges tacked on a 10-yard TD run in the third before Little Chute scored twice to tighten up the final score.
Fox Valley Lutheran will play at Wrightstown (5-1, 3-1 NEC) on Thursday at 7 p.m.
