2024 WIAA state boys & girls hockey playoff brackets announced

The brackets for the upcoming 2024 WIAA state boys and girls hockey playoffs have been released.

Play begins with boys regional semifinals on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Regionals finals for both the boys and girls will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, or Friday, Feb. 16, with sectional semifinals on Feb. 20, and sectional finals on Feb. 23 or Feb. 24.

Sectional champions move on to the 2024 WIAA State Boys & Girls Hockey Tournament, which will be held Feb. 29-March 2 at Bob Suter’s Capitol Ice Arena in Middleton.

Appleton United is the No. 12 seed in the Division 1 Sectional 2 boys bracket and will travel to No. 5 Beaver Dam for a regional semifinal on Feb. 13. In the same bracket, the Fox Cities Stars are the No. 11 seed and will play a road game at No. 6 West Bend.

In the girls bracket, the Fox Cities Stars are the No. 5 seed in Sectional 3 and will play a regional final on Feb. 16 at the Lakeshore Lightning in Mequon.
